Fees and Payment Plans
Fees are set on a case-by-case basis and are based on the seriousness of the charge and the complexity of the case. A written fee agreement will be required at the time Mr. Peralta is retained, which will set forth the details of the representation.
Payment plans are offered which typically require half the fee to be paid up front, with the remainder to be paid in equal monthly installments. We accept most major credit and debit cards as well as electronic checks.

Texas is one of the few states that allows attorneys to post bail bonds on behalf of their clients. Bail bond companies charge a non-refundable fee for their bonds - usually 10-15% of the bail amount. However, if you have your attorney post your bond, the fee you pay for your bond will be applied towards your retainer fee.
So for the same amount you would normally pay to a bonding company, you get both a bail bond and a retained attorney who will be working on your case from the very beginning.
However, there are a number of requirements that must be met before Mr. Peralta will agree to post your bond.
- By law an attorney can only post a bond for a client he represents. That means that you will have to retain Mr. Peralta as your attorney before he can legally post your bond.
- A separate bond agreement must be signed by the client setting forth his or her obligations. If the client fails to abide by the bond agreement, cannot be contacted, fails to appear for court as required, or fails to abide by his retainer agreement, Mr. Peralta can file a motion to get off the bond and the court can issue a warrant for the client's arrest.
- A non-refundable bond fee - usually 10% of the total amount of bail set in the case(s) - will be charged. This amount will be applied towards the client's retainer fee.
- You must have sufficient ties to your community so that Mr. Peralta can always locate you through family, friends or employers.
